Production Support Engineer

Job Summary

TEOCO is seeking a diligent, customer-focused Production Support Engineer to join our operations team. This role is an excellent opportunity to support mission-critical production systems, build deep technical troubleshooting skills, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability and reliability of our software products. The Production Support Engineer will monitor system health, investigate and resolve incidents, and participate in continuous improvement efforts to reduce recurring issues and improve operational processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform installation, upgrade, configuration, and monitoring of TEOCO and third-party applications (e.g., Citrix, Oracle, Apache/Tomcat)

  • Develop and manage system monitoring, automation, and alert/notification tools

  • Conduct root cause analysis and diagnostics for production system issues

  • Support administration of Windows-based servers and environments

  • Troubleshoot and resolve end-user issues independently and efficiently

  • Monitor and maintain Python-based RPA tools in the production environment

  • Ensure smooth functioning of live applications and systems

  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for issue resolution

  • Provide support during shifts, including occasional night or weekend work

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Proficiency in Python scripting/programming and debugging

  • Experience with PL/SQL and database queries

  • Good understanding of Windows operating systems

  • Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)

  • Experience in managing applications in a live/production environment

  • Ability to perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting

  • Familiarity with system monitoring and automation tools

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to interact confidently with internal and external stakeholders

  • Willingness to work in shifts and support production environments

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Citrix environments

  • Working knowledge of Linux/Unix system
