Job Summary
TEOCO’s Audit team is seeking a smart, self-motivated, and collaborative candidate. This is a great opportunity to gain or build upon experience in utility consulting, developing a foundation of utility invoice knowledge and learning software tools.
Key Responsibilities
Employee will work 11AM - 8PM ET
Employee duties will include the following:
Research and make payment on invoices that have arrived too late for processing through normal workflows.
Research and make payment on urgent past due notices and high-priority issues for any account that could be in jeopardy of service shut off.
Utilize internal TEOCO systems to document payment activity to ensure accurate financial governance.
Utilize specific client systems to gather data that will support decision making.
Analyze collected data to determine if emergency payment is required.
Vendor/Supplier outreach plus collaboration with internal teams. Handling root cause analysis and incorporating lessons learned from past incidents.
Required Skills & Competencies
Attention to Detail, Problem Solving, and Excellent Written and Oral Communications are key skills that need to be demonstrated by the candidate.
Past experience in the utility industry and with MS Excel helpful.
Candidate can work remotely and will need to work 11am-8pm Eastern Time.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $45,000–$60,000 annually, with starting compensation determined based on experience, skills, education, geographic location, and alignment with our overall compensation structure.
